Overview
The world’s first government-funded multimodal large language model initiative was launched by the Ministry of Science and Technology. It was created by IIIT IIT Bombay under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) of the Department of Science and Technology (DST).
